Modeled after the old gold and silver mines in the area, our 3,300 square foot, 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath, custom home is situated above Little Cascade creek on 2 acres. Only 2 miles from Purgatory Ski Resort and 24 miles from historic downtown Durango, yet the 'Creek House' offers privacy and seclusion and tons of amenities - private hot tub, Sauna, pool table, outdoor fire pit, 3 decks with great views, gas fire pit on the main deck, 2 separate living spaces, every Direct TV Channel, BBQ grill, high speed WIFI and of course the relaxing sounds of the creek, which brings back guests year after year. The luxurious home is furnished with rustic, high quality furnishings, historic mining and western photos and features flat screen TVs in the Main Living space (60') and the 2nd living space (42') and three of the bedrooms (42'). In addition, there is a kids playroom as well a a high chair, stair gates, plastic dishes, kids books, toys and DVDs as well as convenient and safe when traveling with young children. Bed Configuration: Master - King with TV and Ensuite Bath TV (3rd Floor) 2nd Bedroom - King with TV (3rd Floor) 3rd Bedroom- King and TV (Bottom Floor - along with pool table, hot tub and sauna) 4th - Queen and 2 sets of bunk beds (twin over twin) - 4th floor This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay). Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years). Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities. Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
